## Volume Control Limitations

Due to macOS limitations with multi-output devices, changing the system volume while using <Tooltip>Nutshell Speaker</Tooltip> may not work as expected. This is a known limitation of macOS that affects virtual audio devices.

## Using Tail's Built-in Volume Control

To address this limitation, we've implemented a dedicated volume control feature directly within the Tails desktop application.

  Users purchasing a subscription based license will have access to Pro features as long as the subscription is active.
* **Lifetime License:** The Tails lifetime license grants unlimited, ongoing access to all Pro features with a one-time fee.

**To purchase a license:**

1. Navigate to the [pricing section of the Tails website](https://withnutshell.com/#pricing-section).
2. Choose the desired pricing plan.
3. Click **‘Buy’** to be navigated to the Stripe payment portal.
4. Enter your payment information and click **‘Subscribe’**.
5. On successful payment, a license key will be emailed to the email that you provided in the Stripe checkout.

# Uninstalling Tails (Formely Nutshell) from macOS

Follow these steps to completely remove Tails from your Mac system.

## Step 1: Remove the Application
